Three guidelines, read in full.

Every line on this site points to a paragraph in one of these documents, read on 2 November 2026. Where a guideline is silent, we say so, and where we interpret, we label it “our reading”.

What we left out

Federal UAE rules: the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology conformity scheme for cosmetics and Cabinet Decision No. 5 of 2014 on perfume products are cited by others and by GU117’s references, but we have not read them, so the site makes no claim about them.

Other emirates (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest), and other Gulf states. Saudi labels have their own free check at gulfgate.milleuno.kr.

The new Dubai laws: GU18 v3.0 now rests on Law No. 5 of 2025 (public health) and Law No. 2 of 2026 (public safety), while GU116 and GU117 still cite Local Order No. 11 of 2003. We have not read the new laws; the guidelines may be reissued.

Processing times, importer charges, laboratory prices and the separate consignment inspection guideline.
